PM Modi arrives in Nepal

Kathmandu [Nepal] May 11 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Janakpur airport on Friday to embark on a two -day visit to Nepal.

He was received by various diginitaries of Nepal.

Various local artists of the country received Prime Minister as they showered flowers upon him.
Prime Minister Modi will now head towards the Ram Janaki Mandir situated at Janakpur in the Mithila region of Nepal.

The temple priests have made elaborate arrangements inside the premises.
While talking to ANI on Thursday, one of the temple priests said, "We are very excited. You could see that the entire Janakpuri is dressed like a bride. (PM Modi) he is coming here for the first time along with Nepal's Prime Minister (KP Sharma Oli)."

The priest further mentioned that PM Modi is scheduled to perform aarti and offer prayers to god.
Prime Minister is further scheduled to flag-off a new bus service named Janakpur-Ayodha bus (TBC) and launch Ramayana Circuit.

Ramayana Circuit is an initiative undertaken by the Indian Ministry of Tourism to help promote religious tourism.

Following that, Prime Minister will visit the Barbigha Ground in Janakpur to address a public rally. A large crowd has gathered at the location to listen to him.

The natives of Nepal are expecting Prime Minister to address issues related to the development of Nepal. Some have even termed him as a "religious leader" as PM Modi began with his Nepal's visit by going to the Ram Janaki Mandir.

Later, he will emplane for Nepal's capital Kathmandu where a slew of official meetings has been scheduled with the political dignitaries of Nepal.
