Tokyo [Japan], May 15 : Square-format analog cameras are the latest rage and Fujifilm is hopping on the trend by announcing its first Instax Square SQ6 instant film camera.

The Fujifilm Instax Square SQ6 has an aspect ratio of 1:1, which renders photos in a 2.4 x 2.4-inch format, The Verge reports.

It comes with an auto-exposure control feature which allows you to capture photos without having to manually tweak settings. There are three color filters in orange, purple, and green, that can fit over the flash and add a tinge to photos.

Other features include selfie mode, timer, tripod socket, macro mode, landscape mode, and more. There's also a double exposure mode which lets you superimpose two images on a single film.

The Fujifilm Instax Square SQ6 comes in three colors: white, gold, and gray. It will be available for purchase starting May 25 in the US at USD 129.95. The Fujifilm Instax Film costs separately at USD 12.54 per pack of 10 prints.
