Telangana CM inspects Hyderabad police center's construction work

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], June 25 : Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday conducted a surprise visit to inspect ongoing works of the Police Command and Control Centre, which is under construction at the Banjara Hills in Hyderabad.

The Chief Minister expressed his satisfaction over the works which are moving on a fast track as planned, in the seven acres area which would have 20 floors buildings with a five lakh square feet built-up area.

Chief Minister Rao desired that this should be brought into activity by completing the works as early as possible.

He added that in addition to monitoring the Law and Order, the command and control center would also be monitoring the disaster management, festivals and fairs management etc.

"The command and control center which is first of its kind in the country and being built with international standards will become a role model and will provide complete safety to the people by fully making use of the technological know-how," a release by Rao's office said.

State Home Minister Naini Narashimha Reddy, Ministers like Tummala Nageshwara Rao, Laxma Reddy, Government Advisor Anurag Sharma, Chief Secretary S K Joshi, DGP Mahender Reddy and few MLAs accompanied the Chief Minister.
